Get something from chef Evan Mallett’s new cookbook, like the Frank Shirley’s Temple with cranberry, Bully Boy White Whiskey, lime, ginger liqueur and Thai chili infused Chartreuse. The chefs work with the bartenders here to come up with special drinks. This spot has a great sparkling wine list, so start with a glass of that, but go on to the Pumpkin Beer Cocktail made with pumpkin ale, house-infused pumpkin vodka, lemon juice and apple cider. With those flavors, I suggest a classic Manhattan made or ask your bartender for something “amaro forward”. New executive chef Rico Garcia has an RW menu with plenty of fall flavors - pumpkin, hazelnuts, pepitas. With the largest selection of Agave-based spirits available in the area, you really should get one of their tequila flights or branch out to Mezcal, which is a hot spirit now. It’s so very dessert-y and great with their ice cream sundae. Get a Pumpkin Martini made with Stoli Vanil, Rumchata, Kahlua, Pumpkin Spice liqueur with a cinnamon sugar rim.
